For accepted candidates, G.S. Precision, Brattleboro, VT has partnered with Vermont Technical College for people to work for a paycheck (32 hours /week plus health benefits) and work towards an Associate’s Degree simultaneously as a full time employee. No student loans or debt.
For the past 7 years, GSP has been educating machinists, engineers, programmers and inspectors on state of the art equipment in the highly precise Aerospace & Defense industry.
Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains the GSP School holds classes, practical application lab and work all within the same facility. Apprentices will be submersed in day to day operations, problem solving and improvement exercises to supply many of today’s elite companies with parts, components and assemblies. Also built in to the program are several eight week long shop rotations for time spent in many departments to include operations, machining, quality, finishing, production control, maintenance, and engineering.
